Hello Friends,
I’ve returned from Portland, OR, where I launched my fourth collection of poems, Severance, at the 2019 AWP Conference. It was terrific to see my publisher Salmon Press’s latest crop of amazing books, and to read with my press-mates at Kell’s Irish Pub, then again at a reception for Salmon Poets.
The book will be widely available in May–but you can buy a copy now directly from Salmon Poetry to support this wonderful publisher of Irish and American poets. If you spend $20 euro (about the cost of two books), the shipping is FREE!
So click here and order a book from Salmon Poetry!
I’ll be launching Severance locally at 8pm on May 18 at Central Michigan University, reading with the ever-awesome Matthew Roberson.
If you’re in the Detroit area, I’ll be launching Severance at Green Brain Comics in Dearborn, on May 20. That evening, my awesome wife Denise Whitebread Fanning will be showing and discussing some of her recent artwork.
There will be more readings scheduled for Ann Arbor, Detroit, and other places, soon. For now, keep an eye on the Readings page; as readings are scheduled, I’ll be listing them there.
Thanks, as always, for your support.
