Our Sudden Museum, my new book, is a little over a month old already. It still has that new book smell!
Thanks to all those who showed up at my launch and book signing in DC, at the great launch reading here in Mt. Pleasant alongside the great fiction of Matthew Roberson, and at my recent reading in Grand Rapids alongside Eric Torgersen and ZG Tomaszewski at the amazing Books and Mortar Bookstore in Grand Rapids. I’ve sold out of my first batch of books and had to order more already. Wahooo!
Our Sudden Museum can be pre-ordered over at Amazon. Or, and preferably: order it directly from Salmon Poetry in Ireland, and you can buy it today–with free shipping if you buy one other book. A far better deal than Amazon, and you don’t have to feel all guilty and skeevy afterward. I hope to see you at some upcoming readings in Boston, Traverse City, Detroit, Saginaw, Ann Arbor, Pittsburgh, etc…:
One on the horizon this month: March 31, 7pm: Boston, MA at the Grolier Poetry Book Shop. What an honor to read in this joint, where I’ll rub elbows with the ghosts of Marianne Moore, T.S. Eliot, Robert Lowell, Sylvia Plath, and many others.
