Topic Information
summer doorIn this workshop, participants will work with acclaimed poet Robert Fanning to read and discuss model poems, as well as write new material.  The focus of the workshop will be imagery, particularly with regard to how poets can employ imagery as a lens, zooming and ranging across the landscape of an experience, with close attention to how the small details or “micro-images” in a poem contribute to the whole.  Workshop participants will have the chance to write and share drafts generated in the workshop, and to engage in feedback of their work with Robert and the other participants.

**NOTE:  Tickets are $30 for participation in the two-hour workshop.  There will be a total of 12 participants. Come in soon to Literary Life Bookstore and register to reserve your seat!
